Their most recent State of the American Workplace report shows significant positive effects all across business based solely on employee engagement:
And guess what has the biggest impact on your company’s employee engagement? Yep, leaders and managers. Gallup studies show that managers account for 70% of variance in an employee’s engagement – SEVENTY PERCENT! Yet, Forbes reports that 45% of managers have NEVER received any training AT ALL on how to be an effective manager and leader. Something’s wrong here, am I right??
